EASY DAY HIKE 3.6 miles 1,650' elevation gain
best season: 0:55 drive dogs welcome 17% grade (moderately steep), but well-built trail. Wildflowers in spring. Can be highly dangerous if snow is below 4,000' elevation, due to steep cross slopes. The hike continues up to a bridge over Chambers Creek, with waterfalls above and below. Beyond the bridge the trail becomes substandard, and was overgrown with Deerbrush about a mile further up as of Mar 2015.
