MODERATE DAY HIKE 7.8 miles 1,100' elevation gain
best season: 1:50 drive This hike goes up over ridge and down past Cameron Meadows (only glimpsed through the trees) to the bridge over Grassy Creek. Then up along charming Grassy Creek, and back over the ridge to the trailhead. A very pleasant hike overall.
This hike

National Park. Backpacking at least 200' from water, no campfires,
bear-proof food storage, in-person self-service permit from any Park
