Kings Creek

This is a challenging dayhike.  The ford of Kings Creek  may be difficult until September; be careful.

This is the hard way to visit Kings Creek Falls.  You go up switchbacks, and up the ridge to usually dry Bench Lake.

Then to scenic Kings Creek Falls, and down across many branches of Kings Creek.

This is a fine hike on a cool autumn day.  Recommended for seasoned hikers.

This hike is in Lassen National Park; owned by the public, managed by Lassen National Park. Backpacking at least 200' from water, no campfires, bear-proof food storage, in-person self-service permit from any Park ranger station.
