CHALLENGING DAY HIKE 9.8 miles 2,000' elevation gain
best season: 1:55 drive This is a challenging dayhike. The ford of Kings Creek may be difficult until September; be careful. This is the hard way to visit Kings Creek Falls. Recommended for seasoned hikers. This hike is in Lassen National Park; owned by the public, managed by Lassen National Park. Backpacking at least 200' from water, no campfires, bear-proof food storage, in-person self-service permit from any Park ranger station. Maps (June 2017 edition) |
