EASY DAY HIKE 6.8 miles 900' elevation gain
best season: 1:30 drive dogs welcome Many of the trees killed in the Dixie Fire This is a nice shuttle hike along the highest ridge in Butte County. It follows the Pacific Crest Trail. It is mostly forested. The hike ends at Cold Springs, an important water source for PCT hikers, and features clear, cold water.
This hike is in Lassen National Forest; owned by the public,
managed by Lassen National Forest. Backpacking welcomed;
